Set me alarm on my phone for 7.30 today as usual, went to sleep ass usual.
Was woken up by loud crashing sounds from the kitchen, the cats were throwing whatever they could get their paws on off the worktop and onto the floor (nothing breakable luckily). Rolled over, looked at the clock - 8.20!!
My phone had removed the alarm I set, not the first time its done that and yesterday it went off but 7 minutes after the time I set it to! I'll be glad to see the back of the stupid thing at the end of Feb!
Had the cats not woken me, heaven knows what time I would have woken up. As it was, I got to work only 5 minutes late (although with bed hair and no lunch!).

 Mr T usually "goes off" at about 5.30am-6.ooam so I feed him and choose whether to be up early and getting on with things or go back to bed and sleep in.
This morning, however, he "slept-in" and if it hadn't been for the milkman coming with our veg-box - I might still be asleep .......

LOl Well done cats definitely deserving of some treats :)

shame you can't "set" the cats for 7.30

Max was a fabulous alarm clock in the week, we had a power cut so both the clock radios were switched off, he woke me up at 6.30 in time to set an alarm on my phone for 7.15 :) Such a good boy ;D

Harry wakes me every morning at 6.10am and then they all start the morning routine which is fine during the week because I get up between 6.15 & 6.30 - not so good at weekends though!

nope, its a nokia n95 and its a big pile of pants, its not the 8gb version though so maybe they fixed all the crap stuff for that one!?

I once had a cat who would nibble my nose if I slept through wake-up time. 7:05 every morning if there were no signs of life, nibble nibble nibble - or licking the eyelids was another approach she favoured ... :tired:
-
Mouse is like that . he starts off licking until you are lulled into a false sense of security and then he bites your nose..or your lip..or your cheek

I don't need an alarm clock - Harvey wakes me up before it even has a chance to go off!! He starts pawing my face and meowing from about 6am onwards.
