Title: BB helps with the paperwork!
Post by: Gillian Harvey on January 21, 2009, 16:00:39 PM: Well, when I say help thats not exactly what I mean :evillaugh: She likes to sit on the desk while I'm working, (doing the dreaded tax return ready to file online before the deadline!! :omg: ) If your'e wondering about the microwave being in my 'office/workroom' - its because I use it for pressing some flowers! oh, and excuse the anglepoise lamp stuck to the wall with brown tape - well it fell apart - like so many things in this house :rofl:

Mr T likes to "help" as well. He leaps up onto my lap, then over the keyboard and onto the shelf under the monitor. The screen wobbles wildly and Im always worried he is going to do it (or himself) a mischief.

He is a bit more wary than he was, though, as he leapt up the other day to watch something Id been given a link to on YouTube. As he put his nose to the screen, co-incidentally a VERY angry cat shouted at him from the video and his tail bushed, his back arched and he was off and away before you could say "Internet" :rofl:

Something spooked Chilli when she was in the litter tray last night, just heard this blood curdling shriek, a thud as she leapt and hit the roof of the tray and then she came screaming out bringing half the litter with her :evillaugh: Dave was then a bit wary of the monster in the litter tray she must have encountered :evillaugh:

She is a very pretty little girl, those blue eyes :Luv:

Previously, when I was fostering, I had a hooded litter tray

On one (memorable) occasion Lucky, who was about 18 then and scared of very little, absolutely refused to use the tray, fur all standing on end. I had a look but couldn't see a thing. The tray was clean and tidy so I put it down to being just one of those things

Then when Gizmo, who was much younger, also "freaked" I had a better look and really wished I hadn't ....

A HUGE spider was sitting inside the tray, up under the lid bit. A real Great-Grand-daddy of the arachnid species. :sick: Generally speaking, the more legs something has the less keen I am on it .... And I loathe big hairy spiders.....

They had to use another tray until I persuaded a friend to remove the spider ..... What a pathetic Meowmy!!! :rofl:

She's feisty (with the others - but not surprisingly as its still early days), affectionate, always wants to sit on my lap when I sit at the computer, or at the desk, noisy - never had such a meowy persian LOL!, bit nervy sometimes when I go towards her and again if people come, but gaining in confidence all the time.
