Title: Feeding time at the Clan Cats
Post by: Liz on January 19, 2009, 16:46:02 PM
This is how our lot eat - some in the hall and some in the family room - this doesn't show the kitchen worktop eaters or the downstairs study eaters

Most folk think we are mad but our lot seem to have us well trained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to say it is a big house but thats the reason we bought it as the kids needed the space and it was rural and only one close neighbour and they have cats and dogs and above all it means that the indoors have loads of room to play - the family room has 3 scratching posts of various sizes, 2 sideboards - they sleep on top of both and windows to the front and back of the house so they can see whats going on!

Bonnielass ours also eat the dog food inside the dogs crates - just the collies ar ein crates at night and jazz chooses where she wants to sleep befitting a lady of nearly 15 years young - cats don't eat her food though she just gives a warning growl meanwhile the boys get paws through the crates and don't bother!

Great pics  ;D

In the first pic, the little black and white one looks as though he has been pushed out of line!

It all looks very civilized. They are gorgeous cats and I'm very jealous of how much space you have. I'm really lucky with my lot. They do all line up to eat together and behave pretty well. They all eat together in the utility room although Bronte likes to have her food bowl up on the bench rather than on the floor with the others - think this is a bit of I'm the oldest and boss syndrome going on there.
