After taking Lancelot the stray in after he had been involved in an RTA, we did our best to help him and got a specialist to operate on his fractured jaw yesterday. Sadly, he passed away 2 hours after surgery due to commplications which were unrelated to his jaw. http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,21683.0.html

RIP little one x

Bless little Lancelot. He may have had a hard life, brief though it may have been. BUT he left us all knowing that someone loved him, wanted to care for him and make his life easier - and that's the greatest gift one can ever receive. Would that he had been able to bask in that love for much, much longer .. but at least he went off on his journey knowing that someone cared. Thank you for giving him that.

Lancelot's owner saw one of our posters and called the vets. She was absolutely devastated but at least she can now grieve for him. :(
