Title: Ids - 15th Jan 2009
Post by: Angiew on January 15, 2009, 14:33:38 PM
Ids (or Iddle or Curly or Florence or little 'un and a few more) was pts today to prevent her suffering any more from what is suspected to be FIP.

Ids was one of my first foster projects, one of three feral kittens who no-one ever came to visit and afte a couple of years we decided they may as well stay.
She was the nervy one of the three and she would watch suspiciously as I spent hours with a bit of string encouraging them to trust us all.

Sadly, her fluffy brother died in an RTA at about a year old so today she will be having a reunion.

The first picture is of the three of them when they started to come into the house (With Fang-RIP in the background). Only Ginge is now with us and is now a fat cat - can;t believe how small he once was.

RIP little one, at least your tummy is now back to normal.

Sorry to hear of your loss Angie - I feel for you, having had my beloved Avalo pts two weeks ago tomorrow, and still waiting for the pain to go away.
Go well, little Ids - and send my love to Avalo on the Rainbow Bridge for me. x  :Luv2: :blow kiss: :Sad Bye:

She was exquisite. Reminds me a bit of my Duty, long since across that bridge. There is nothing that can be said that will ease the hurt of her loss, really. But you know she is better now and that she has not and never will truly leave you. Until you feel her again snugging close, please know that lots of human hugs are winging their way to you.

Thank you all. I am getting back to normal but missing her - I didn't realise that she had become my no.1 lapcat and pillow hogger and I have been catless for 2 evenings now :'(

I'm sure the others will rally round and help fill the space in their own time.
