Title: How much wee is 'normal'
Post by: Totos Mum on February 20, 2007, 13:07:58 PM
Hi all,
Me again, I know that this may sound an odd question but how much wee should a 7 month old kitten typicaly produce each time they try and go? I am watching my little one as closely as possible and each time she does go it's only seems to be a very small amount that she passes. I do realise that I may have become 'paranoid mum' with her having her bacterial infection but can't help but think that when this flared up and she wee'd on the bed there was a lot more. Perhaps this is normal amount and the new anti-biotics have kicked in, she's certainly not in her litter tray every 5 minutes as she was when diagnosed with her infection.

My older cats only use one of the trays in dire emergency but it seems to be a hell of a lot more when they go..

Thanks,

Sarah

My little Tiggy only does little wees - and she is 2 and a half now.  I mentioned it to the vets and they said that its nothing to worry about.
Does she strain when she is "going".  If she is only 7 months old shes probably only got a little bladder.
