It is only the marinades on offer - the regular Felix was £3.24 a box. I got some Joe & Gills. They had another one called Ultima 1/2 price but the ingredients weren't as good.

I didn't bother buying the marinades as it looked the same as AGAIL and mine won't touch it. I also thought if they do like it, I will be stuck paying over £4 a box for mediocre food.

Don't know Mark, i didnt take alot of notice as i dont buy pouches (would cost too much with 11 cats lol)

I had to take 2 bags of Joe and Jills back today .....my lot didnt really like it and poor Freddy wouldnt eat at all !!
Last week they had Natures best and again they werent keen on it (and again Freddy hated it)
So got their Purina One today....Freddy was over the moon ....it was amazing to watch, he would take a mouthful and then rub against me and then back for another mouthful....he eat nearly a whole bowl full bless his heart

mine are enjoying it though with a £600 mountain of the stuff, I have thought about using it with more 'normal' food to stop them becoming addicted to it!

Michelle our latest addittion Jester has the same reaction to Purina!  Still snorts food though like he was never fed!

We feed tins 6 days a week and have sachets on a Saturday night for our lot - its usually whats on special offer - thankgod we have storage for cat food as ours go through 48 - 60 sachets dependant on if they like it but ours think anythingthat comes from a sachet is special - also includes wet dog food!

Snap. They seem to work out cheaper with four cats.

I buy multipacks of tins from the supermarket as we have quite a few ferals to feed, there's sometimes more food for the cats than us  :evillaugh:  I also buy tins of Whiskas supermeat for my 2 oldies as they are toothless and it's all they will eat, Byron has 2 teeth and shares other bits I give her chicken, fish or whatever with the ferals every evening though.

My lot very rarely take to a new food right away and are not keen on Felix on the whole - sometimes they eat it sometimes they dont but they LOVED the Marinades - was nothing left of them this morning by the time I was leaving for work.

Will need to pop into to Tesco to pick up some more!

I am going to try some tins, my job is a bit uncertain and so I need to keep an eye on money until things are sorted - they won't touch felix tins so will give yarrah a go, it will still work out cheaper than pouches
