Title: the splits

I've never seen a cat do this before and keep meaning to get a photo of Lexie doing it. When any of my other cats sit down they curl their back legs underneath them. Lexie stretches her back legs out behind her and her front legs right out in front of her so that she looks like she is doing the splits. Anyone else seen their cat do this?

Yep, Smartie does is regularly and Skye sometimes.  Never seen Summer do it though x

Ginny does that, it's soooo cute! My little cav also does it. :) They both do a commando crawl when they do it too. :Luv2:

Yes - that's the one. I think its the funniest thing but looks like it couldn't possibly be comfortable! I'll have to try to get a pic of her doing it.

dogs often do it to cool down (their tummy has less hair so they can gain coolness from the ground. Smidgen does it because he can .... Esther is far too much of a lady for that sort of carryon ...
