Title: Watch out Cat sign...any ideas?
Post by: koscha (Ruth M) on January 12, 2009, 08:22:58 AM
Ever since I saw that wonderful Attenti ai Gatti sign in the auction i've wanted a warning sign saying much the same in English..

I'm sick and tired of people standing with our front door open (lodgers family and friends)  >:(

Anyway...having real trouble finding one I like, PAH had a really cheap plastic one that said 'watch out cat about' but I want something a little prettier or funny.

Anybody got any suggestions?

We have a lovely pot like plate type thing which states "do not let the cats out no matter what it tells you!"  We have them both sides of the family room door to remind visitors through the day when the clan cats are in their 2 packs - indoor only and the others - some of our visitors can't tell the difference between some of ours!

I think I've seen one in the CP centre. I remember chuckling that I needed one of those. I keep my lot in at night and am also always doing the shut the door please or don't let the cats out call!

Just checked CP online shop but couldn't see any. I still like the Spolit Rotten Cats Live Here doormats.

Ohhh Indys Mamma do you mind terribly if I use that sign myself? it's lovely.....you've got a talent there.  :)

Sam you've started me off with those french cat signs....I adore the artist who composed those images. The artists name is Du bout (if I remeber right) and I have several items of du bout tableware which are NEVER USED but have that special title of 'future family heirloom and ornamental china'  ;D

I'll be buying a whole set of 4 of those for the lounge wall.... :)

I've found a good priced one on ebay (thanks Sam  :)) I'm just waiting to see if he's got another type I want to buy...

Cheers me dears....as always you've come up trumps  :Luv:

Ruth if you like Dubout stuff check out this site:   http://www.duboutcats.net/shop/

I love his images and treated myself to a full set of 8 dinner plates last year.  No idea why I need 8 plates as I live on my own and do not entertain ... but I loved them all so had to have them
