We rehomed our last cat of 2008 yesterday (Gulliver, suspect thrown out of car cat!) which bring our rehoming figures for the year as 192, against 224 of last year.. So a little down but mainly because we dealt with all of the chislet ferals last year.. and Bredhurst ended up taking some of our overspill.
We never do well on L and F..a terribly 3 or so
We have rehomed 6 FIV and have done homechecks for at least 10 other rescues (not all CP but other rescues such as HAWS) and rehomed for them so thats not included in our figures. And neutered around 262 cats in our area.. So all in all not bad.. i would say!
Cat's & kittens homed TOTALS 172
Direct rehomed via our rehoming 20
Total cats rehomed 192. (this includes 60 plus kittens)
Cats returned to owners via Lost and Found 3
Cats PTS or died in care are 13, the majority of them being kittens sadly!

Its sad you were down on last year but the success of 192 kitties being in new homes for Xmas is in itself remarkable and shows the dedication that goes into each rehoming, WELL DONE and may 2009 be more successful for you

Wow, that is a good number to say you get a lot of poorly cats who take a lot of time. Here's hoping for another good year next year.
