Post by: ronandcats on December 31, 2008, 00:17:57 AM
We have homed 4 cats to loving homes since Christmas, which brings  the total of cats and kittens Re homed by lostcatsbrighton to over 2000.00 cats it does not sound a lot in 8 years and have reunited lots of lost cat back to there owners but it makes me feel really good and makes me feel proud its all been worthwile i have had my helper David with me now for a year who does a great job and i don't think i could have reached it without him he is a god send the poor lad works with me and only works for his room and board he has to go back to work every so often to get money to keep going but he still helps even when he works bless him i am nearly 71 one years more and as you all know it gets to you at times but i am  hoping he David will keep our rescue going when i can no longer do it, but hope that wont be for at least 10 more years i think i would be lost without doing what i love ding best saving homeless and unwanted  little cats,i would like at this time to wish you all a happy new year and keep up the good work you all do what would happen to all the little Babes out there do if it were not for kind people like us god bless you all Ron

Well done Ron and David.  I think 2000 over 8 years is an amazing figure and I wish I felt I did half as much as you do.

Hope 2009 is a good year for you and I know it will be a brilliant year for all the kitties that find their way to your door. :Luv2: :Luv2:

2000 in eight years is 250 cats per year: that's round about five cats a week  :wow:

Happy New Year to you!
