Yes - (apart from gorgeous kitty) the manicure was the first thing I noticed too!

Well - Im flattered!  Thank you!  My hands have suffered a bit recently as I have anaemia and the nails keep flaking and breaking - so red glittery polish seemed like a bit of fun!  Mr T has tried licking it off .... :evillaugh:
& MrT will be even more big-headed when I read him the comments about himself!

Mr T is just adorable :Luv2: :Luv2:

Your nails do look awsome,I'm envious because one of my habits is to bite my nails and I'd love to have long nails like that :shify: :shify:

They really arent that long - its the camera angle!!  The nail varnish has survived washing up, baths, and cat litter duty since Christmas Eve - I can recommend Barry M - No. 150(the red glittery in the picture)  and Avon peeling and brittleness solveras an undercoat - its completely transparent. . :)  I used to be a nail biter .... Managed to stop by restricting myself to just nibbling the little ones, then hating the feel of bits of nail varnish in my mouth - even a clear one feels horrible to me!!

I do love a black cat and he certainly looks very happy with his new family.  :Luv:

One of the girls in works pet peeves is my nails, I have lovely naturally long nails but never do anything with them. On one rare occasion I did I drove her nuts by not removing the chipped polish, to the point where she went and bought remover pads and made me take it off  :evillaugh:

Cheeky so and so!  I wouldnt have put up with that!  This thread has really turned into a maniure discussion  Normally I, too am fairly lucky with my nails.  The glitter varnish is hiding a multitude of sins, though!!  Seems to have worked!  Im not over fussy, but I hate it when they split and catch on things and tear.  It HURTS!!!  Perhaps my iron pills etc are having more effect that I thought  :)

My nails are a complete disgrace, and horribly weak. I keep them trimmed short to avoid the pain of them catching on something and bending in the wrong direction... Manicurists shudder when I present my hands ... on the rare occasions I pamper myself to that extent ... I am deeply envious of my friend Barbara whose nails are always perfect and yet she can do all manner of hard work with them like really rough gardening - it just isn't fair ...

Now you can see why I painted them ......  Ridges are apparent anaemia classic ....

Oh I wasn't offended, we insult each other all day long in a friendly banter sort of way, I'm sure I taunted her with said chipped nails in a juvenile way to wind her up  :evillaugh:

 Sounds like places Ive worked .....  and a school friend of mine who used to be horrified by ladders in my tights (I was a real tom-boy and usually looked as if I should be at St Trinians)  She always had spare tights in her satchel and used to try and make me tidy up.  We still see eachother and she gives me tights as a joke present!!  Have to say, its quite useful  :briggin:  Now I wind her up by wearing pop socks with trousers.  She finds this a real fashion faux pas for reasons I cant understand!!

As for my pop socks.............Lets just say my friends don't understand what a 26 year old is doing wearing pop socks despite me explaining the blister prevention when wearing nice shoes  :evillaugh:

Oooh my nails are ridged like that - I don't think I'm anaemic though - and actually, its not all of them, its only some of them, odd.

As a celebration (!) that this thread has gone back to Mr T .....  some more pics .....

I think in the first one he is telling us its time to change the carpet ...... (My opinion is that he is right - carpet pre-dates my living here!) :innocent:

In the second he has caught his "furry thing" and is wondering what to do next .... :)

He's a he actually lol, the vet sexed him and said he was a girl but it was about 2 months before we discovered he wasn't, he'd had his name since he was about 2 days old and we couldn't see him as anything other than Belle so it had to stay that way :)

Thank you though  :)

And this was Daisy, who seemingly also had a "gender identity problem"  He belonged to a neighbour and used to come for "Snackettes" on a regular basis.  Both our cats then, Lucky and Gizmo, would visit Daisy's house too .....

What's wrong with pop socks under trousers, do they think?   What's the alternative?
