Amber and Chilli got a Da Bird for Christmas and whilst Chilli has been very well behaved with it, Amber is a complete hooligan, jumping a couple of feet in the air to catch it then refusing point blank to let it go and giving me a good scratching if I try to take it off her! Its gone back in the tube for now while I nurse my holey hands!

 sorry

I think pictures are needed

I bet she's had super fun though! :naughty:
-
Oh yes, definitely! She looked very disappointed when it went back in the tube! Definitely a good Christmas present, I'll take it out again later and see if I can get some pics/vids of the action.

We bought one for our 2 oldies and Schui and Byron had a little play this morning, Byron looked a bit disappointed when we put it away too but we didn't want to excite her too much at 24 :scared:

Crikey, 24! thats pretty impressive, great that she's still into playing with toys!

I bought mine of these as well - Harvey hasn't really bothered with it too much but Ollie is jumping up a couple of feet too to get it - it is the funniest thing ever. He hisses and growls at it too.
If no-one has one of these, I thoroughly recommend you get one - they are well worth the money. I like the fact that they have a long rod on it too - so many of these just have a short rod and they're not much good. It is a really good quality one.

Maybe Tan should add a discliamer to the shop stating that she cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by overjealous cats loving da bird a little too much :evillaugh:
-
I can add a new injury (and yes you can laugh!!) I put the rod upside down beside the chair and forgot it. Its in a rather dark corner..... Ive just lent over to pick up my drink and a box of (UN)chocolate from the floor and ..... the stick went up my nose!!!
Im Ok - but I shall be a lot more careful in future. Mr T and Chloe are looking at me as if Im totally mad cos Im sneezing and giggling. OH DEAR!!!
-
this is why mine is safely tucked in the lingerie drawer ... saves injuries all round    Mind, I did nearly take my eye out on the shrub at my own back door the other day. Good thing about glasses, they compensate for blindness in more ways than one

I once fell off the computer chair whilst swinging da Bird round for Charlie ouch

So true! I think mine save me this morning from someone determined to stick an umbrella in my eye. No, it wasnt even raining - it was a queue in Woolworths and the woman in front of me seemed determined to buy (and test buy opening in the shop) every last umbrella ... :tired:
