Title: Thomas - The Christmas Cat!
Post by: JackSpratt on December 24, 2008, 11:21:05 AM
I appear to have lost his thread in rescue and rehoming, but thought people might like to see pictures of him. Just in case you aren't sure which cat Thomas is, he's the FIV cat that was at a Sheffield Vets after an RTA.

Thomas got a Christmas miracle of his own, because he got picked up from the surgery to go to this new home yesterday. :Luv:

He's gorgeous - so pleased he now has a forever home  :Luv2:

He looks like a long haired version of my Bonnie but I think he's got just a bit more tail left than Bonnie has.

Very handsome JS  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:.

Don't know his story but can I ask, without causing offence, whether he is just lazy (he rolls about a little like the hoola princess did for Da Bird this evening :innocent: ) or is he perhaps not too nimble following RTA  :shy:?

I think a bit of both, Rosella. ;) I'm sure given a bit of enthusiasm he could be a little less rotund, but you know what felines are like once they've got a cushy deal.... (Well, certain ones, anyway!)

He's ace, though. I need to visit him soon I think.

Sad news regarding Thomas. He got very ill very quickly and his new humans have had to make the decision we all dread. The vet is going to their home at three this afternoon. Please send vibes for a peaceful passing for Thomas and for his two dads who I know will be in bits about this. Thomas is so very loved and I truly feel for them.
