Title: I found a home for Milly!

I am dead chuffed with myself.  :)

Our Sharon went off on her jaunt yesterday and left me with the keys to the shop. Fool! :evillaugh:

I am thrilled to say no sooner she had gone, an email came through from a wonderful sounding lady. She had lost her beloved puss over the weekend at the age of 18 and after a long battle against kidney failure. The lady is devastated and can't face spending Christmas alone. She had seen Milly on our Catchat page and fallen in love.  :naughty:

Milly had caused us a little problem as she is a shy puss who needs a quiet home, and no other pets or young children around. This lady sounds like the perfect match.  :briggin:

The viewing is on Friday but I suspect it'll be a formality. Even so, please keep your fingers crossed for Milly and her potential new owner. This is a Christmas story in the making.  ;)

I am pleased to say the lady went to view Milly today and she can't wait to get Milly home.  :Luv:

The homecheck is tomorrow but I really don't envisage a problem, so Milly will be in snoozing in front of her new fireside in time for Christmas day.

I spent nearly an hour talking to this lady on the phone. There's no doubt in my mind she's perfect, so the HC is just a formality.  ;)

Milly's HC went stormingly well. A lovely quiet area with no nasty roads and open grounds to go play in.  ;) The lady's been out and bought brand new everything and is all prepared. And she donated us her old puss's renal food.  :)

So Milly will be off in the next day or so...  :Luv: :Luv:
