Post by: Gillian Harvey on December 13, 2008, 00:13:20 AM: Round here (near RAF Lyneham) there is a serious problem with forces families moving and just leaving their cats wandering the streets - my vet gets involved a lot as one branch of her practice is pretty much opposite the base.

after much haggling they could take the cat, but the dog (labrador/collie cross) was deemed a 'large, agressive breed' :shocked: mby German immegration so they gave him to a friend in UK... in Germany they got a lab/alsation cross who is twice the size!!

both pets have their pet passports and I think they would be as likely to leave Simba and Sam behind as they would to leave their son behind

Simply because they lack the education to do so. And even more sadly, there are more of them than there are of us. That is why this sort of story is so damaging.
