Title: The vet took what?!!
Post by: Millys Mum on December 12, 2008, 18:57:44 PM
 :evillaugh:
Poor Dexter is missing something! His street cred has fallen somewhat overnight

Any tips for removing the smell of tomcat from the washing machine drum? I washed his bedding with extra bio powder on a 60 pre wash cycle and double conditioner and the drum is what you could call ripe

Try a boil wash but it might be the rubber around the drum that smells and i dont know if you are going to get rid of that smell

   Bless him.

I'd try a hot wash (the hottest your machine does) without anything in the machine and with some biological washing powder containing bleach.

Yep  :wow:  They were very excited by the packaging but haven't got in the car... yet! I'm hovering with a camera so the second they do pics will be published  :evillaugh:  It has cat nav so keep your eyes peeled for two boys squished in a blue car beeping the horn outside your house  ;D

Lovely cat and great pics - Have you tried washing the drum with straight lemon juice on a dry cloth?  I found that worked very well when I had Smudge.

Wipe the drum out with Surgical Spirit. Whisky, gin brandy or rum would do the same job but then perhaps people would think you an alcoholic. ;D

I dont drink anymore and sister didnt think much to giving up her rum for solving cats pee!
I found a 'service it' cleaning solution, bopped the whole bottle in and its done the trick  ;D

Poor lad has gone round respraying his fav spots but its not having the desired effect  ;D look on his face is classic  :evillaugh:
