Title: RIP Black cat
Post by: carl (billy and baggys dad) on February 15, 2007, 12:28:44 PM
On my way to work I noticed a cat lying in the road, in the middle of nowhere. I stopped the car and got out to see if he was still alive - unfortunately he wasn't. I lifted him off the road and covered him up. There are no houses nearby, so I don't know where he came from. I'll collect him tonight and bury him properly.

RIP little man, whoever you were - I hope your life was happy, and wherever you are now is happier.

If you culd take him to see if he is chippped before you bury him.  You never know he may have a chip and a family somewhere looking for.

RIP Baby

Yup, that thought occured to me before Sam.

It was sad to see him, its sort of stayed in my mind. I just phoned my girlfriend and asked her to give our boys a cuddle from me  :(

Thankyou - it is individuals like you who make those of us who have lost cats feel good to be a part of the same race.

I lost my Minstrel in an RTA while I was at work. Someone - I still don't know who - covered him up and telephoned me at work to say where they'd left him and that he hadn't suffered too much. I was able to collect him and bury him myself, in the garden.

Again, thank you. The cat's owners may never know what happened to their loved on - but at least someone does.
