So I ordered an Igloo bed for Oscar from Zooplus as he loves getting into little cubby holes and having a sleep and the Cat tent zseemed to have falled out of favour!
So the Igloo bed was such a hit that the two of them seem to squabble over it so I nipped down to PAH to get another one as I don't need a delivery from Zooplus for a while and wanted to get one quick.
I bought the following

but I am not worried it is a bit small for such big cats!!! Edgar has been in it and came right back out after a sniff - he did seem to have to squish his bum in to fit!
Oscar is smaller but near blind so I am not sure he will fit in either lol!!
Does anyone have a big boy or girl and had any success with these beds??

Spike can fit in a standard pyramid bed and hes quite big. They only wanted the first igloo because the other one did!

I find the bigger the cat, the smaller the space they want :evillaugh: Geoffrey is over 7kg and will try and squeeze himself into the smallest spaces, most of the time he would rather half fit on a small cat basket than lay out on a big one. I have one similar to that link, but from Argos, I'd say it's fine for most cats, big ones just curl themselves up smaller (or lay with their bum sticking out) :evillaugh:

and cos the sides are soft, they move to accommodate the cat, so no problem - he is probably just being a cat and refusing your offering as unworthy ... ;)
I rather like that colour way, very nice!

Oh good so should get some use out of it then - I think they will love it once they 'discover' it as they seem to love squeezing themselves into small spaces and they are not that big I suppose (only about 4.5 kg lol!! :-:)
They have been in the bed beside me at night since I got it - their Daddy is away for a week and I don't mind Edgar's middle of the night head butts as much as he does so we have did a deal, I keep them warm they keep me warm and then when my OH is back we pretend nothing happened lol!!! Seriously though it is so dam cold that we have been letting them in the bedroom and just suffering Edgar (Oscar doesn't bother anyone!) bless and so far it is working!!
Will monitor activity on the bed though - so far nothing !

If cats will get in beds (my 2 won't) then I prefer igloo ones for them because they are enclosed, our Penny loved her igloo beds and I used to get ones with the smallest hole so she was nice and cosy.
