I would need to put a warning sign on the sort of things I discover when vaccuuming
But yes, the dog's kong and several tennis balls, the lighter plastic balls for the cats - the odd catnip mouse and bag .......... it is never dull doing the housework here. Clever babies :Luv:
-
Stashing them for later :evillaugh:
That reminds me I must hoover up :tired:
-
;D Brilliant!
Nova throws his mice under the sofa on purpose I think, because as soon as I lift the sofa and dig them out he hoops them straight back under there!
-
The spikey b/w ball looks like it needs to be laid to rest :evillaugh:
-
If only it was just the catnip mousies behind our sofa........................

I'm sure I have gone to throw that out before, but then thought, oh I don't know, they like the unpredictable way it bounces, and back it comes. :evillaugh:
-
lol fab... so pleased its not just me that finds stashes under everything you move!! lol
-
Score - what a wonderful haul! ;D
-
Looks like you're having a BALL in your house Gillian :evillaugh: :naughty: :Luv2:  or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5...............

Looks like what we find when we move the 4 couches and under the cat room bed
Now they will chase them back for you to find! ;D
-
I can't get under my bed without a major mission but may do it in the next couple of days (off work) as I buy Dave toys all the time but there is currently not a one in sight, I suspect they are all under the bed.
-
I haven't moved my sofa for a while so I dread to think what's under there
-
So its not just me then .... :briggin: Usually when I find the throw from the back of the sofa missing I have an "excavation" behind the sofa. The throw gets pulled down so that Mr T can push it against the storage heater and make a nest ..... Under the sofa yields all sorts of things from cat toys to the odd sock - Mr T is a great lover of my socks - Im not sure whether to be flattered or worried!! Biros which are meant to be beside the telephone, along with the note pad, end up under the sofa as the cats pat and chase them. I also had what I though was quite a nice (artificial) floral decoration which the cats have chewed some of the leaves and flowers off. They then spat out the bits behind the sofa .... Im so glad they dont go out or we would probably have a
mouseoleum mausoleum!! :P

 Lovely!
I have a horrible feeling there's a bird somewhere in our house :shify: Milly came in with one the other day and took it under the bed so I couldn't get to her. I went to pick hubby up from the station and when I got back, the bird was nowhere to be found. I can't believe she took it back outside, I find it hard to believe that she ate the entire thing without leaving so much as a single feather as evidence, which only leaves the option that she's popped it somewhere :shify:

That's xmas presents sorted :)
-
Worryingly there were no toys lurking under my sofa when I moved it today which maens they must all be under the bed :shify: Either that or Dave has eaten them as there are loads of missing toys.

I have an update on the bird situation...I just went to the kitchen and found it on the kitchen floor. Without wanting to be graphic, it's definitely last week's one and not a new one  Now where on earth had she stashed it and why did she suddenly get it out again today
PS Gillian - I will look under my sofas shortly and let you know if there's anything exciting there :evillaugh:

We had a new bed delivered yesterday so took the old one out for the council to collect on Sunday. Under the bed I found 4 different catnip mice, 3 balls, 20 empty contact lens cases, 2 cotton buds and 3 twigs along with the collection of dust/cat hair....all courtesy of Jet & Cruz. Needless to say the girls were both very happy with their toys that had been retrieved from under the bed. They charged around the house for hours on end. Think I'll be hoovering under this bed a little more often hehe

When I'm brave enough to do the same I find loads of stuff under there. As for the fridge... And Mosi stashes his treasure under the bed. There's usually at least one make up brush under there, but I have found teaspoons, wooden spoons, dischloths and socks under there in the past.
The thing that really gets me is what happens to the stuff you don't find. When Jaffa and Magpie were kittens, I bought a load of ping pong balls for them (a pack of about 12). I know for a fact I've never thrown any out, so where are they all??????  One by one they went awol and I've not seen any of them for years.
-
Finally cleared out under the bed and look what I found.

Ping pong balls usually end up under the cooker at my house. ;)
