Title: Sammy's lost his coat - and cute Sammy kitten pic!

Sammy always drops his coat this time of year, but its making him look even smaller now that he's lost so much weight as well - his head looks too big for his body poor chap  :Luv:

This is pic of him when he was a kitten, before he came to me, taken at my friend Audrey's (his breeder) house. The kitten on the left is my lovely Gypsy (RIP) . I didnt have Gypsy as a kitten, she came to me as and adult cat, and its only recently, when Audrey was here that I found out that it was Gypsy as a kitten. 11 years I've had that pic on the wall and never knew it was Gyps in the pic too!

He is lovely......Franta eats his coatand is also looking thin cos of the short coat he is wearing.

Sam is just cuddly an cute and so is Gypsy  ;D

I'm curious, why do they lose their coat volume?  I thought at this time of year it would be thicker.

Nova's got a fluffy puffball effect going on right now, his neck ruff is huge!

I just love Sammie - I thimk its that little pink tongue sticking out (not to mention his lovely nature!)

Beavis is looking a right scragbag too at the moment. Like Franta he eats his coat , especially when he doesnt get what he wants , and he sheds this time of year too. Poor little thing looks all malnourished! :-[

All my persians seem to vary in their shedding patterns! Sam has always dropped his coat this time of year. His coat is very easy to care for anyway, but from now till about March/April, he'll probably not need a comb near him! Compare his coat back in July this year. Just back from Prague and trying to look at the auction and everything else but I had to look at Gillians pics.  Big head, no coat, doesn't matter with your lot - they are all still sooooo cute.  I'm really glad that you've got a photo of Gypsy as a kitten - that's amazing having the photo all that time and not knowing.  :hug:

And I wonder where  the kitten in the middle ended up......must ask Audrey next time... ;)
