I was minding my own business when I heard a pathetic mewling noise, I looked over and saw Riley stretched out on his back at the top of his climber looking ridiculously cute. It was too much to resist so I went over to him.
As I got there I saw Lu in his bed on the third level down looking supercute too. I gave Lu a quick tickle then stood on the arm of the settee and rubbed Riley's tummy and kissed his head. After a few minutes I climed down and kneeled on the settee facing Lu and tickled his tummy, just as he began to purr I felt an almighty thud. Riley had launched himself of the top level directly onto my head like a lemming. I don't think he was jumping down as there were no claws, just a sickening thud as all 6.5 kg of him landed smack bang on my head :-: It really hurts :doh:

One of Chilli's favourite tricks is sitting in the hall and attacking my head with her claws as I walk up the stairs.

If I pick Byron up she claws her way up to your neck and when I was sat varnishing the skirting boards she decided to sit perched on my shoulders, I'm sure she thinks she is a parrot

He often does 'pretend' attacks where he'll launch himself up the door frame just as I come out of a room or jump on top of the bannister and whack me on the head but this was different :-:
I'm always sceptical of these 'no win, no fee' people who try and claim for whiplash saying that every single part of their body hurts but I'm not joking - my head is throbbing inside and out, my neck is sore and my shoulders and lower back hurt :doh:
He's huge Gill, all muscle - he might even weigh more than that as he was 7.65 kg including the carrier at the vets and it's a lightweight plastic carrier :-[

Sounds like you need to put some ice on back of your neck, cos that sounds rather painful.
Do you have any Ibelieve (sp). after icing and before bed, rub into neck and shoulders. Also take two ibruprofen before bed.

Then I would be dead, I'm highly allergic :evillaugh: I have co-codamol left over from my operation so will take some of them - off to see what I have in the freezer to put on my neck. Can you imagine explaining it to the Doctors or to work - a cat fell on my head :-[

Didnt know peeps had allegie to ibruprofen lol........but the other should do well.
A packet of frozen peas will do it............I try to keep a really cheap packet in there ;D
Yes doctor would lauggh probably but what the hell.......every one laughed at me when I was bitten by a cactus but had to go to hosptal in end!

glad to hear he's a nice sturdy boy too though - - - not great news i guess when he's landing on your head.

You have me sympathy as, yes, it does hurt. Alfie does the same thing off of the headboard onto my head every morning, I've taken to wearing a full-face crash helmet in bed ;D

Riley's evil twin :naughty: has done the exact same thing to me. Only he launched himself onto the front of my head and clung on, two claw feet wrapped around the top/back of my head and two claw feet on my shoulders. Think it probably resembled a scene from alien :evillaugh:

Well I woke up this morning feeling a bit sore and incredibly hungover but not a sip of alcohol has passed my lips so think I might have mild concussion! I am now talking to Riley as he gave me an apology snuggle in bed :Luv2:
I think there is a possibility it might have been an accident as there were no feet involved and after he fell off the back of my head onto the floor he did look a bit shocked himself :evillaugh:

Aww hope you feel better soon. Maybe he vas so happy with the cuddle you gave him he rolled off the top! Maude does this sometimes she gets so carried away with been made a fuss of she just rolls off things!!

My Suzie used to take me by surprise - she was no lightweight (big for a persian girl :evillaugh: ) by launching herself at my back when I least expected it! I was always checking behind me just in case LOL!
