Picturing Miss Cissy, Smudger and Ragamuffin all in one radiator bed with the heat on at 4 its has been really cold this passed week!
So much for folks who say they don't adapt and should live outside - these 3 ferals would have differing idea's on that! ;D
-
awww great picture, that must be one strong radiator bed :Luv2:

Just what I was thinking, you can almost hear the groaning of the radiator! They're 4 very lucky ferals :Luv2:
-
Gill only 3 in the photo - Ragamuffin is turning in to a large fluffy lady her coat is wonderful!
radiator bed strengthened by Robin the Engineer a.k.a Daddy!!!!!

Gill only 3 in the photo
Fair point but I'm Helen :evillaugh:
-
Thats Beijings fault I only ever see half a screen as she is chasing mousie cursor! ;D
-
Phew pleased you got that sorted
Ginge took the words right out of my mouth.....thought I could see the bed slowly slipping ;D
My semi feral would never want to be without her creature comforts now but she is terrified of being shut in, mind you it would be hard to change at her age I think.

It's gorgeous to see them so cozy. Smidgen likes his radiator bed (even though the radiator is never turned on) because it is right at the head of the stairs, so he can keep an eye on things both upstairs and down ... lol :Luv:
He prefers the dog's bed however, and often forces Shadow to sleep on the bare floor as he is too comfy to transfer to the human bed when I retire ... It really is a dog's life for poor Shadow ...

Gill age is not an issue Miss Cissy is 14 and had adpated beautifully!

Miss Cissy is expanding her Radiator bed search and has now been seen on one in the family room and one in the dining room - she missed the one in the hall on her way!
Just to say we are not bad parents and 3 brand new never used by the mob radfiator beds arrived from Zooplus for their Christmas but will bet they still try the 3 in a bed! ;D

I can believe it Liz, :Luv: ferals do stick together - literally :evillaugh:

Awwww lovely pic. Wonder if the radiator can take the pressure. Gerti bent one of our radiators sitting in the bed by herself!

Ferals learn about home comforts REAL quick! :sneaky: I have a lady on my books who had lots of ferals around her stables living underneath her office/caravan. Once they've been caught and done we return them and they gradually become a lot tamer. When she arrives now in the morning, all the cats that we've done so far now line up in front of her calor gas fire throwing moodies until she switches it on. :evillaugh: Sometimes up to 8 cats all lined up in a row giving her the evil eye, she says, like a Hitchcock film. One even bangs the side of it with his paw!
-
:evillaugh: that has happened where we live and 3 of us look after them all, they go from house to house and very healthy they look too. We have kennels for them and many go into next doors as she has an ex-feral who they all latch on to. My neighbour says she goes into her conservatory and they are all lounged on her furniture which is nice that they aren't out in all weathers all the time. They won't let you stroke them though but we can get a feet away from most of them.

Excellent pic Liz. I have always said NO cat given the choice would stay outside if there's an option to snuggle upto something nice and warm.
-
Miss Cissy would agree after 14 years outside!
She is hopefully off to the vet for full boosters and ID Chip and Program - we are doing them one by one to fit in on a lighter month - probably january as we have 12 cats in December and Beijing and Archie weights permitting also loosing their bits!
Robin can pick up ragamuffin - the fluffy one and Smudger is still a bit skittish but does love his breakfast saucer and the little bit extra he gets for not flying under the futon when raven decides to do a lap of death on the bookshleves
