Title: Frontline
Post by: Dayzie on November 17, 2008, 17:29:27 PM
Just wanted to know if it's safe to put flea control on Dayzie under a month apart.
She must have been really suffering as she is still covered in them! and it's been 2 weeks!
I would have thought it was where they were living in the carpet but we also de-flead the house.
Not only are they festering her but also me! leaving dark red nat bites.
I don't think I can handle another 2 weeks so is it safe? she is only a small cat so I don't want it to overwhelm her.

They need to have 4 weeks between treatments.
What did you spray the house with?

You can comb them out and either crush between your nails or put in a bowl of water, the best place to do this is in the bath so nothing can escape you!

A good hoover will remove part of the problem too

If you drop them in a bowl of water with a few drops of washing up liquid, it breaks the surface tension so they will sink. If you haven't got one, you can get a plastic flea comb in Wilkinsons for 20p  :evillaugh:
