Thiis is an ongoing story. A lady who has fallen on hard time is living in a transit van with 3 cats. I was dealing with her a few weeks ago and got them all neutered (all males)..One is a persian blue cross (i think). The lady OH is not nice and refuses to give up the kitten who is 6months old. The lady has tried her best and realises that its for the best to take the other 2 (which we can take in next week).. But the man (who has known to be violent) want give this one up as its very pretty!!!!!!!!!!!! He is currently feeding it on fish that he catches...
What a situation. the lady i have been speaking to seems sensible enough but not wiling to confront her partner (not married i dont think).. so really we take two young cats and give them a nice new home (one is only 6months old) and contemn the other one to a life living in a transit van...!!
its sounds to me as though the two are parting anyhows as she said that after the weekend she may end up sleeping on the streets. What a situation and this is in Whitstable...!!
Thanks goodness we got them neutered a while back... One is 3yrs old and the other just 6months... This is a situation that its probably best if the cat goes missing... Bad enough life for a person let alone a animal who doesnt have a choice!!

Aww, what a sad story, and at least they are letting you help some, you never know by taking 2, they might relent in a while and let you take the third.

so sad :( I hope you can sort something out

Both of these cats are now in our care, but the third was not handed over...

Can she not accidentally let it out and then it goes missing. She could always insist it was in a few mins ago but when he came in he must have occidentally allowed it to escape.
-
it must be so hard for them though... at least 2 are out of this situation... which is better than nothing. You never know with a little time he may come round??
