Title: MORRISONS
Post by: Ela on November 11, 2008, 20:12:55 PM
Did anyone see the Morrisons advert on TV Spend £40 for 4 weeks and the next time you go if you spend £40 you get £20 back, something like that anyway.  Trouble is I don't like our nearest Morrisons, it stinks of Fish. We do have another one a little one further away but to get there we would have to go past Sainsburys and I know the car would turn into that car park.

Started saving my receipts yesterday, you need to spend £40 weekly starting this week for next 4 weeks and stick till receipts to saver card which is then exchanged for £20 voucher in time for Christmas. Must admit I prefer to shop at Morrisons and luckily my local one is kept lovely and clean.

How lucky you are, the one nearest to us is very clean, it is just the smell of fish  which is at the top of the first aisle. A week or so ago I nipped in as we passing  for something I had forgotten at Sainsburys. Even when I was half way down another aisle a couple of  aisle away from the fish I could smell it. The fish looks OK but obviously it is far from fresh and I don’t get close enough to look into their eyes to check.

I got my first receipt yesterday. It a great offer as our weekly shop is always more than £40. Have to say thought the queues last night were massive. It appeared that the till staff had been instructed to explain it to EVERY customer. :tired:

I like Morrisons but have to go out of the way to get to one. I usually only go when I do a PAH trip. I love made instore veggie pizza  :drool;

the main problem with ours is they don't have much organic meat, only chicken so I end up having to go to waitrose or sainsburys anyway - I suppose the £20 would pay for my baileys!!

Oooh yes the instore pizzas are lovely.

I don't think its a brilliant offer though unless you already shop there. So you have to spend £160 to get a £20 off when spend £40 voucher? I wouldn't have minded that if it wasn't weekly when we did shop in Morrisons but I never spend £40 a week in shopping!

Just done my first big shop in Morrisons for a few weeks, so have receipt #1.

I'm just going to do my normal shopping, plus start getting the goodies for Christmas as well, I will easily do £40 a week  :doh:
