On friday night I cooked a nice dinner for me and OH of mozzarella stuffed chicken breasts wrapped in bacon. I'd bought a 4 pack of chicken breasts as they were good quality and on offer, so I thought I would cook the 2 plain ones to have cold in salad (!) or sandwiches over the weekend. After our dinner, we settled down to watch a movie which I promptly fell asleep during and wandered half asleep up to bed, leaving the foil wrapped chicken still cooling on the cooker top (I had meant to put it in the fridge when it was cool enough, but totally forgot.
Next morning I came downstairs to feed the cats and noticed that one of the neatly wrapped chicken parcels had been neatly unwrapped (no shredding or anything, just all folded back) and was missing a nice cooked chicken breast. No trace of said chicken breast was found afterwards and I don't know which one of my little rascals helped themselves, or if it was both of them!

Lol it would of been both of them :evillaugh:
I leave a plate of meat from Sunday dinner in the microwave for the cats, my OH ends up taking it out to use the micro and does not put it back, so the cats just help themselves lol
-
Wouldn't surprise me if it was both, it was quite a big bit of chicken. I couldn't belive they hadn't ripped the foil though!
-
Well if you will leave chicken out unattended - what do you expect?! ;D I reckon it was probably a team effort.
-
They must have thought Christmas had come early in your house :evillaugh:
Bless 'em :Luv:

Being so neatly folded back, are you sure it wasn't your OH

Lol, I didn't mean to - I was pretty much a zombie by the time I headed up to bed. I've got really bad for falling asleep watching tv!
What surprised me was that they left the other one completely untouched!
-
I love the way they neatly unwrapped it so as to point the blame at a human :evillaugh:
-
   Definitely a team effort would have needed one on look out in case they were caught and one unwrapping quietly!!
-
How do you know it wasnt OH trying to frame the cats?
Spike got a nice lump of roast beef out the microwave not long ago and neatly gnawed all around it :evillaugh:
-
OH would have left more mess!! lol
I can tell easily if he's been in the kitchen from things left on the side etc! This was definitely the work of cat burglars!

What surprises me most is that they left the remaining chicken parcel................my two would have eaten them both!!! Reminds me of a call from my OH last week......he'd fed the girls when he'd got in from work then dozed on the sofa. He awoke a while later and heard noises in the kitchen. He went out there and jet & cruz were sitting on the top munching Whiska's treats. OH had left the cupboard open and they'd got the little tub out and jet being the clever madam she is, can open it...........there were 6 left from half a tub!!!! :evillaugh:

You really will have to start feeding your cats Liza    It shows how crafty the little s..... can be

I remember Casper doing the same with a tub of those. I'd brought them upstairs for playtime and left them on a shelf. In the morning, there was a very chewed lid and an empty tub on the floor!
