:)
Did a HC earlier for Jake. He has been returned twice already so things weren't looking too great for him. Funnily enough, the lady lives about 10 doors away from Paula who is fostering him. She didn't want to do the HC as she felt she couldn't be impartial. Anyway as soon as I walked through the door, I saw the cat posters, ornaments etc. She showed me a framed photo of her cat that died. It was a case of "sign here" :evillaugh: - she wanted to tell me about her various cats over the years :evillaugh: - she said one of her friends said she was mad for taking on a 12 year old but she said she replied "If people like me won't take them on, who will?" - she stroked the picture of him on the printout and said she loved him as soon as she saw him :)
She showed me the step she had for her last cat so she wouldn't hurt herself jumping off the kitchen worktop :) (Anyone that allows cats on worktops is my kind of person)

I am so pleased for the little one.
She didn't want to do the HC as she felt she couldn't be impartial.
We always do that if someone lives near or is a relation. Also in that way if there is a problem it takes away any confrontation between friends or family of someone else says no.

She had a huge poster on the door with cats heads - it said "9 out of 10 cats think their owners needs salvation" :scared:
Edit - found the poster

Wow, Jake is a handsome boy :Luv:. He sounds lovely, glad he's off to a suitably cat-centric home.
