Title: WARNING - Antifreeze in Snowglobes!
Post by: Jasmine on October 22, 2008, 15:03:40 PM
Please everyone be aware that snow/water/glitter globes generally contain 2% ethylene glycol (antifreeze) in the solution (which stops them from freezing during shipping).

As most of you probably know, this substance is highly toxic to animals - so if one of these items accidentally smashed and a cat/dog ingested the water, it could be fatal.

(Please note these items have been temporarily withdrawn from the Purrs shop and you can contact Tan if you have any concerns).

Thanks for the warning.  With 2 young children in the house these things appear every christmas and get tossed about.  I will do what I can to intercept them now!
