Title: Older Feral Cats can Adapt!!!!
Post by: Liz on October 19, 2008, 16:53:25 PM
Please find below a picture of Miss Cissy - aged 14 and her kids Smudger and Ragamuffin aged 8

They came to us at the end of May this year after the rest of their colony was poisoned - they travelled 100 miles and before coming here spent 2 weeks in CP Pens with their former feeder visiting 3 times a day to feed and spend time with them, thanks to Patricia they came litter trained, wormed and deflead!

They have adapted to life here at the Clan cats extrememly well and Robin picked Ragamuuffin up the other day - she is the fluffy one, Miss Cissy tolerates the odd stroke but poor Smudger hides under the futon if we try to stroke him but does love his morning saucer and now eats on teh bookcase in the study and is always looking to help his Mum and sister finish theirs!

The next big thing for this lot is a visit to the vets for injections, ID chips and boosters so that should warrant a post in its self a bit further down the road currently all have been wormed again and had Profender but need all the above to become fully paid up Clan Cats - they will be there before Ace and Blue!
