I have had both of my kittens neutered, Flo, the little girl is fine. Keith was fine for a couple of weeks, now he seems to have changed. He was a friendly, loving oaf... one who we likened to a dog! Now he's grumpy, he doesn't come for cuddles and he isn't very keen on having a fuss either. I'm hoping that it's 'teenage years' and not that his personality has been hugely altered... or worse he can't forgive us!
Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you in advance!

Usually its the other way round........do hope he becomes a loveable boy again.
Have you checked with the vet to see if he has any probs or is in pain?
-
I agree with Gill, a vet check to make sure nothing is amiss but maybe this is his true character, thats why i prefer adult cats - you know what your getting :Luv:
-
speaking as a male I would be pretty grumpy too
-
Hopefully he's just gping through his 'teenager' phase  No words of wisdom I just had to post to say what a classy name - Keith - I love it :evillaugh:
-
Hopefully he will settle down All the boy cats I have ever known have been gentle, placid ones :Luv2: - Like my Clapton. The 3 girls are always squabbling :evillaugh:

Do all cats chnage after they are done?......worried about my girls not being cuddle bums anymore :(
-
Neutering doesnt alter cats, what you see are the normal changes in personality that happen as they grow up
-
It does alter them inamuch as they aren't hormonally driven any more so less likely to wander, get into fights, get frustrated etc - so changes can only be for the better. Vicious Toms can turn into cuddlebum lapcats :evillaugh:
