Title: Getting Away

hi guys just a quick note to let you all know that we will be away for a couple of weeks as of this weekend so won't be online til we get back.

As most of you know we launched Sunny Harbour (which is going very well ) at the end of a very exhausting 12 months.  Paul and I have not been away for years and so we have made the decision to get away before the rescue gets too overwhelmed as we don't know when we'll get the chance again and we desperately need to recharge our batteries before they go completely flat.  Sunny Harbour seems to be going from strength to strength with the number of calls rising every week.  Numbers are right down after a great homing spell and will be left in very capable hands of my mother for the time we are away.

will miss all the banter but will look forward to catching up on our return! :)   Hopefully very much rested and able to battle the ups and downs!  :hug:

Have a lovely break if experience is anything to go by you`ll not get another for at least 20 years. :)

thanks guys... we are actually heading out to Egypt... never been before and am really looking forward to chilling and doing nowt for a whole 14 days!  Been one helluva year and with the loss of my best friend and various other issues very much needed for us both!

I had a dream i was on holiday and then realised i was 50 so iv got a while to wait for my vacation  :evillaugh:

Hope you enjoy yourself, I am jealous, I would love to go to Egypt. I am having a 'pretend' holiday this year!!

We'll have a drink or two for you when we're away Desley! ;)   Can't wait to go although I've still got another few homings to sort out before we go tomorrow night and its so weird with the numbers of cats being so low. Never been this quiet in years. Although I'm sure with all the running around today and tomorrow we'll be ready for a kip on the flight!!
