Title: Can cats get haemorrhoids?
Post by: Christine (Blip) on October 07, 2008, 13:43:51 PM
I know that is an odd question, but as I've admitted before, my knowledge of feline physiology is not always what it could be  :-[

Anyway, does anyone know, can cats get haemorrhoids?  This enquiry is sparked by curiousity, btw, not because I'm concerned about Blip.

I would guess they could, but never had a cat with these issues so honestly, have no idea.

However, in searching google for your questions (seriously I did) amid the many links to Yahoo Answers which I avoided this one is the only one which offers a yes.

In fact, it was Alison's current concerns about Archie that got me wondering about this as it struck me as a possible explanation for the little fella's issue.
