Hi all,
I was at the petindex show at the NEC today and one of the new products that caught my eye were the happycat collars.
Sadly couldn't have one to road test but essentially they are like a windy bracelet (or a few loops of slinky for those that remember those).
There is a pre-production website at www.happycatcollars.co.uk (I wonder who thought of that ).
likes - grow with the cat, easy to get on and off - no tricky buckles, nice bright colours
dislikes - none at the moment , would be nice to test drive!
Anyone else seen them? (are you going to point me at a previous thread now?)
My cats wolfed down the bozita reindeer sample I bought home, though they always seem to enjoy one-off food.
Bugbottle seems to stop after a while and the thing in the bag toy was soon declared boring. However the catnap sack is dripping wet - so I know what I should have spent my money on.
Bought a furminator and will have to try it out later.

I've been considering a bug bottle - our Asteroid is obsessed with flies!
What are the collrs made of? It reminds me of a memory wire necklace.

Charlie has a bug bottle and it is languishing in the garden shed, he has no interest in it whatsoever. Same with the Thing in a Bag he hit it twice and then looked at me as if to say ......

I've been thinking of a bug bottle, I've seen those collars but can't think where but mine don't wear collars so not something I would linger over
what is it with bozita, I have 30 odd cartons at home totally unloved!

Hmmm.....would you consider sending it to me if I donated a few pounds to one of the charities on here? (And sent you postage!) Let me know - I'm fairly certain Asteroid would enjoy it! ;D

The look cheap  if a leg got caught how does it release it?

They look better in the flesh than on the website.
As they are open ended if the leg gets caught the loop expands so that it causes no problems (or falls off if the loop gets too big).
Theres very little force holding the loop in place. If you pull in the middle the whole thing easily gets unravelled. Hard to describe really.
