Came home from work today (luckily only 12 - 4 shift) and was only greeted by one cat. After wandering round to see if I could find Chilli I popped to the downstairs loo, but when I opened the door, out she came! I always shut the toilet doors, no other door in the house gets closed but I check to make sure there isn't a cat there first, it looked like she'd made a bed on a towel in the bath so I guess I missed her when I shut the door before I left.
I feel like a horrible meowmy now!

I shut Jaffa in a cupboard last week. It was only for a few minutes but I felt so bad for doing it at all!

Fredcat has been shut in the garage overnight on the odd occasion - we have a remote door and he sneaks in when its shutting! :shy:

Don't they just know how to make us feel guilty  :Luv2: It's their own fault when we do things like this and they are laughing like mad at us when we are cuddling them and saying how sorry we are.

I have shut Poppy and Elvis in cupboards for a shift - I was devestated, both furbabies just slept the day it seemed. Now I am super paranoid about the wardrobe and will leave it open 95% of the time! :innocent:

I must admit, since Bonnie has started sleeping in my knicker drawer I don't close it at all.

yup - I've shut Cosmo in the kitchen and bathroom before as he just sneaks in behind me real fast (he knows he's not allowed in those rooms). It usually takes about 5-10 mins before I hear pathetic meows - our kitchen has a glass door so I can usually see him from the other end of the hallway sitting on his back legs looking anxious :evillaugh:

I shut Mogs out on the balcony once and only noticed when I realised there were big eyes staring at me from the wrong side of the glass door.
She obviously didnt learn not to sneak past me as some time later I shut her out on the landing outside the front door. That time Amber was wailing and being erally annoying so I told her off and only noticed Mogs wasnt around when it was bedtime and she didnt come for supper.
I felt soo bad that now I tend to check where the cats are everytime Ive had the door open :-[
