I took 2 spays in last night and realised one I'd already had done so had to do a swap this morning. I picked Blackie who had had kittens a few weeks ago and took her along this morning. I received a phone call earlier to say she'd died under the anaesthetic :'( :'( :'( I feel bloody awful as I could have picked one of 4 this morning and I had to choose her. She was only a youngster and appeared in good health but the vet said in fairness her skin had a yellowy tinge to it so she could have had liver problems. She started having breathing problems as soon as she was sedated and they said they did everything they could, sadly to no avail :'(
:RIP: Blackie, another babe never to be forgotten, sweet dreams, xxxxxxxxxxx

It was meant to be be hunnie and Blackie isn't suffering anymore, RIP little one.

Don't know Hun
But it's not often cats die under a GA for spaying so maybe it was her time ?
RIP little one...... xxxxx

It made it worse as Sean was off today and the vet that did her is one I usually refuse to deal with. I will keep wondering now if it's something she did wrong or whether it was her time, I don't know, my head is scrambled with it :'( :'(

Awww hunnie, I think it must have been her time
Play hard at the Bridge Blackie

Don't beat yourself up, I'm sure it must have been her time and better for her to go whilst asleep, or at least unaware of what was happening, than to suffer pain later.
RIP little girl :candle:

I've just picked Socks up and she's fine anyway, whilst she was under they find a pellet lodged in her leg, this has now been removed. I've taken 2 more in this evening for morning but I'm now going to be on pins :(

How horrible but I am sure it was meant to be, especially as it appears there were liver problems. Trust it to be the vet you hate Dawn. Anyway don't beat yourself up you did the best you could and no-one knew what the outcome would be. There is always a risk with GA and maybe, just maybe, it saved this little kitty from long term suffering?
PS Charlie sends you a big head butt

I am so sorry Dawn
RIP Blackie, play hard on the Bridge
