Title: Elated at homing Mulberry such a deserving puss cat who had virtually given up!

Mulberry is an very old puss cat brought into the vets last week and we have only jsut got room to take her. She has been in a pen for two days.. During that time i have one lady who was desperate to take on a older cat and even though Mulberry is prob getting on 15 or so years in age her teeth and bloods were fine. But she weigh hardly anything no more then 2kg and being long haired even worse, she is bones.. She has matted fur (since combed but still not at her best) and her eyes were sunken in.. She however purrs for the world and tonight those lovely people who i warned about her general state of health and looks TOOK HER HOME AS THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH HER!!!

Amazing............... she could of been with us for weeks... and weeks............ but someone saw beyond the age and her looks and she is now at home being fussed over for the first time in weeks let alone months...

I hope they can send me photos with the before and after... I am dead chuffed for Mulberry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeayyyy....so pleased for Mulberry. :) :) :)

When I got my oldest cat, Carrie from a rescue centre (13 years ago in August just gone!) she was the only cat playing up. She was climbing the pen door and screaming for all she was worth - I knew she really wanted out. So she got her own way; things haven't changed much since!

I'd love to see pictures of the sweet old lady.  :)

I would have fallen in love with her too.  I hope we'll be seeing the 'after' pictures soon  :)
