We are making rapid progress this weekend, I knew ordering Feliway would possibly be pointless. So here are the pictures of my two as close as they have ever got to each other without Chilli hissing or them having a wee bit of a fight. I'm a very happy meowmy today.
Stage one, one on the sofa the other on the peace maker rug.

Then on the bed practically cuddling :)

Dave braving a sniff

Then both nearly relaxed

Glad to see how closer they are getting.
I had the same problem when I got Mary. Buddy didn't like her at all but she wanted to be friends with him. It took several months before Buddy would accept her. One year on they are now best of friends, but still like some chill out time alone.

Well things are most definitely progressing at speed. They are getting on a million times better and tonight, for the first time, they are both sound asleep next to me on the bed literally inches from each other. Chilli is still a bit wary as I think every time Dave approached her she thinks it is to play and obviously isn't always keen on this! They are definitely on the route to friendship though :shy:

They're so cute. My two "more mature" girls took a while to accept P-cat who was a bundle of chaos and would often lie in wait for them then pounce...Crookie had it worse as Molly just refused to come in. Crookie used to have a hooded bed and P-cat would creep up to it then pounce on it from behind collapsing it onto it. She got wise to this and started sleeping on the hood part of the bed so she could see him coming!
They accepted each other after a few months and it was lovely to see them snuggle up together. Though Molly is still not his greatest fan.

How long have you had Dave for?

We are into our seventh week with Dave. Chilli and Dave are getting friendlier and friendlier with every day that passes. They play together now as well. Not had a proper cuddle yet but I'm still hopeful!
