Beautiful footage to watch also

the kites are lovely, they circle over our garden, when I first moved I was worried they would take the cat!!!
-
I have red kites over me ;D
-
We have lots around Oxfordshire - they are sooooooooooooooo beautiful!

Great news. Now I know a mysterious bird that flew overhead the other day on my way back from Hereford was a Red Kite ;D
-
They are the only bird of prey with a forked tail, and thats how you can tell them when they soar over ;D
There seems to be a pair round here and we also have a seagull or two and I saw the seagull attacking one of the kites and it regualirly attacks jackdoors (sp) too. I dont know if the seagull had chicks near but first you hear the noise and eventually you see the gull going crazy!

My friend in mid-Wales sees red kites daily too. Beautiful birds :)
