Sorry it's another poo question...
for about 3 days now i have noticed either floss or tepe's poo is white (poss a shade of beige)!!! and the other poo in the tray is "normal coloured".
i am confused, any suggestions???

I would get the vet involved. When my Dragan had pancreatitis his poo changed to a pale beige colour. That was what alerted the vet to the pancreatitis., It may be nothing but worth getting it checked.
-
OMG that sounds really serious, what is it?
they are really happy and healthy running around, wrestling, chompping their food down as normal.
i have changed their food and their litter on sunday, could that be it?
-
a change in food could change the colour but would have thought that if both are eating the same then the change would be to both.
i think its worth sounding out the vet too.
-
Agree to keep an eye - could also indicate liver problems/excess bile if it continues.
-
this all sounds very serious and i am quite paniked but what confuses me is that they are soooo happy and not at all like what people say you should look out for when kitten's are poorly. they are currently chasing each other around the house.
-
it may not be seriouis but your vet will tell you
-
It may be nothing, try not to worry but best to get the vet involved in case
-
What did you change their food too?
-
asda tiger kitten chicken pouches, i have just checked that they are both 4% meat and rest of ingredients not that different. and litter changed to asda lightweight litter, i don't like it.
i just looked in the litters trays (their are two next to each other, i was paranoid when getting the kittens cause i read that if trays aren't kept clean they will find elsewhere to 'go' and with having two kittens i assumed that there may be at times a que at the gents toilets!) and both have a fresh very brown smelly poo!
because there are 2 that is a good sign i suppose.
should i just monitor them and their poop?
i have been following a couple of threads about poo and another couple about food (i also started one on food) and i have found it quite interesing.

Just posted this on the other thread, but will repost here - if Asda Tiger Kitten is anything like their Senior, it could be higher in fibre, which could affect their poos

i know

I would keep an eye on things and if it continues I would definitely get the vet involved .... if you do take them to the vet it would be a good idea to actually take a sample of the offending poo with you  sick I know but so much easier than having to try and describe it when you are there.

I get this with Lily when I give her milk. Mitz is ok with it, but Lily's next poo is always paler and looser. No more milk for Lily then! However, if it continues much longer, I agree, vet check, with poo in clean container. (Lucky vet!)
-
Kitties really shouldnt have milk unless it is special cat milk - Dairy isnt good for them!
-
Franta says to tell you that he would be mortified without his slurp of my cereal milk
-
when i first had them i tried them with whiskers kitten milk but they didn't touch it.
i have put them back on felix just to see if it was the food...
-
poo is brown again! it was the litter, turning it white, i cut a piece of poo in half with the scoop whilst in the tray and it was brown all the way through....just like a stick of rock!
-
   I bet you never thought you'd be doing that!!!! Glad to hear everything is OK with the babies
-
how life has changed!
i was telling my work friend about the poo saga and she was killing herself laughing said same as you....
