After the mess up with my order last week, I am annoyed that they still haven't posted my review of Tigerino Nuggies. I got through 2 bags in a week due to clumps breaking up - It appears they only show the good reviews. I am trying to find another supplier of ultra-clumping at a reasonable price so I don't have to order from them any more.
-
I bought the two bags on special and I am finding the clumps are breaking up too. Also it doesnt hold odour very well - I wont be buying it again.
-
I tried it once and found it broke up, smell wasn't that great either. I'm back on wooden pellets, can't beat it in my eyes
-
Yup same problem here so won't be buying it again although it does smell nice!
Someone has advised that Lidls own clumping is very good - they have 7 cats so will be giving it a try
-
I can't believe how much time & energy we spend trying to find the perfect litter :evillaugh:
I am still waiting for the OKO to be used. I would try the Lidl one but isn't it just fullers earth and not ultra clumping?
-
I know your pain Mark!! to me oko was a bit like posh crumb, as far as I remember it clumps quite well - the tigerino is finished, the classy cat isn't bad and the extreme is ok but neither smells as nice as I'd like so will be going back to crumb once I've used them, they all track as well, found some litter on the sofa on sunday moments before mil's guests arrived!
-
I was about to order some Tigerino with my food order from Zooplus as I'm I'm looking for the least tracking litter available, luckily the reviews came just in time for me :evillaugh:
Dawn, if you are trying the others mainly because you want the perfumey smell then have you thought about sprinkling a litter freshener into the crumb so you get the best of both worlds?
-
I did get a shirleys litter freshner once - it was pretty horrible - tbh I think they'd prefer not to have the scent its just me being girlie!
-
CHICK CRUMB RULES
-
A used a bob martin freshner, didn't mask rather it mingled.....it's put me off lemons forever
-
you are of course right Sheryl - all this little adventure has done is cost me about £50 and given the postie a hernia!
-
PMSL Dawn
I went to pick up a sack of Chick Crumb at the weekend from my normal supplier and the bloke in the shop said "you must have lots of chicks my dear" I just laughed and said no just 6 cats - his face was a picture
-
last time oh went to collect it for me and the boy helping him was asking him loads of questions about our chicks! he was also a bit bemused the older guy who runs the place immediately picked up on the fact that we weren't paying VAT!
-
I found another supplier of chick crumb over my way, its an organic one with nothing in it at all (apart from the crumb .... obviously ) and the chap seemed most bemused when I told him it was for use as cat litter :evillaugh:
-
well the reaction of the chicken forum probably says it all - who are these weird forum people anyway!!
-
Yes indeed
-
We might be slightly mad  but at least we are quids in ;D IMO people who have chicks as pets are madder than me
