Well no sooner have I adopted Nobo and 6 days later I adopted another rescue cat! I've called her Izzy. She's only about 1- 2(ish) and had 7 kittens. The kittens have all been rehomed and no-one wanted her. The wee cutie was waiting for a home for a few months. She was a feral cat on a farm and treated poorly. I noticed her when I choose Nobo but I walked away with him. I couldn't stop thinking about her so I went back on Monday. She was so timid but when I lay down on the floor and talked to her, she slowly came over.

I can't believe how affectionate she is for a feral. Such a trusting wee soul (but only trusts me at present - even then we're building our trust each day) but still rather timid.

I brought her home and Nobo was not amused. He's settled now and ironically she's mad at him, as he made her life miserable for the first few days. I'll post under health & behaviour soon as I do need some advice. I just wanted to show you all my beautiful girl.

She will be mad as she will just have got rid of her bunch only to be presented with another one, cant blame her after rearing 7! She must be thinking oh god not again

Often people label cats as feral when they are actually somebodies once wanted pet until they got bored and the cat has had to live on its wits to keep alive. They then slowly revert back to a domestic state  ;D

Even though he's not a kitten?

I think she's snapped as he bullied her for about 3 days and now he wants to get to know her. She's having none of it.  >:(

I thought he was a diddly, think thats cos so many newbies have joined in the last week  :doh:

LOL - he's a semi-diddy. 10 months old.

Thanks everyone. I think she's stunning too, but hey, I'm biased.

She actually sat on my lap for the first time today. I was sitting on the hall floor trying to get her to relax. I ended up with "dead legs" but I didn't care.  :Luv2:
