Title: Do you think I should be offended?
Post by: Rosella moggy on August 21, 2008, 15:11:06 PM
Currently cat sitting for near neighbours. All 3 boys I know VERY well.  The last 3 days Butu has done a poo in his tray while I was there and they are the only poos in trays so far. They are all allowed 24/7 access to outdoors so obviously pooing mainly outside.

It's the timing of the indoor pooing to coincide with my visits that seems a little unusual  :-:  He's either a real clever dude knowing I'll clean it out straight away or he's telling me precisely what he thinks of me know the fresh fish is all eaten.

My hunch would be that he waits for the litter tray cleaner to arrive  ;)

If he is anything like my lot he will be sound asleep most of the day then wakes up when you get there ... and as we all know when you wake up you go to the loo!.  I usually get at least 1 of my gang pooing in the tray within about 10 mins of me coming home from work  :shy:

I know exactly how you feel because my neighbour's cat used to do the same thing to me before he went to the Bridge 2 years ago.  Lucky was an outdoor cat and he would come over to my house and meow on the window sill and I would go over and let him in and as I was putting fresh food down for him or closing the curtains he would be leaving a little message in the litter tray
