If someone invents cat sat nav or a tracking device in a cats microchip I'd pay soooooooooooooooooooo much money for it.

You can get them.  Saw a thread on CatChat a while ago.  Not that expensive.  Will have a look to see if I can find it.

They come with two fobs but you can add more if you want to track a bigger number of things (including kitties)!  Might put you mind at rest x

None of mine wear collars but might need to rethink and have them all wear saftey collars - don't care how many extra's I'd have to buy.    Still thinking of cat proofing though but hubby isn't chuffed on the idea but I will look into these things - anyone using them on their cats at the mo?

Definitely worth it I think, takes a lot of the worry out of wandering cats!  Milly has lost her collar a couple of times, but at least you know where to go and find it  :evillaugh:  It's been in the neighbour's garden a couple of times.  The tag is a little bulkier than I'd like but it's so light it really doesn't bother them.  I have a feeling that loc8tor have stopped manufacturing the standard one, their website now only shows the lite or the plus version.  I'd see if you can get hold of an original one (about £55), maybe from ebay or maplin might still have some in stock, as the lite version has a smaller range, and the plus version has extra fancy features but is much more expensive.

Have read through the other thread and seriously thinking about it when we get cash for at least Poppy and Vesti the two main wonderers, put it on safety collars.
