Just had the most wonderful phone call ever, someone wanting an older cat, around 8-9 years old - Moses is 8.5 (although suppose could be nearer 9, as she has been here since Jan), she needs an only cat home, which they can offer, they want to come and look at her this afternoon!! The only downside is that I have to drive near where they live to get my new car today, and I can't pop in to check things out as I have to get straight home to tax it. I am going back near there either Mon or Tues though fortunately. I really hope that things work out, it does sound good so far.

It did - as I dont know when I will be able to drive my new car till tomorrow (taxing issues), I let them take her yesterday, and I will do a post home check during the week, as I am in that area at some point. They certainly gave off good vibes, Zi was all over them, and she rarely comes down when I have visitors, and if she does, she rarely stays near them, she sat with them and wanted fuss more than she does with me!! I am so pleased she has finally found a home, she has been here since hte 20 Jan, so nearly 7 months. I did try to ring her owner last night to tell her the good news, but it seems like the phone has been disconnected, which isn't good as she had cancer.
It was very weird this morning, it is the first time in years I have had no cats downstairs, Mol and Zi are in my room, and the fosters have to be in their room overnight, as they have no concept of how covered trays work. I do have more fosters coming on Wed though, so a few days to enjoy being low on numbers.

Good news! Teresa has had a couple of better weeks on the rehoming front too. I do hope it is a bit of a trend ;D

I know, I am really pleased for her, although it is strange not having her dash out of hte house every time I open the door, and the fosters are getting more time out of their room as I dont have to worry about the indoor/outdoor issue. Still odd not having any cats downstairs to feed.
