For those of you who know... she's at it again!
For those of you who don't... there is a history!
Episode 1: eating a piece of blue string... http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,5468.0.html
Episode 2: when I thought she ate a pompom... http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,15251.html - ok so this one was me panicking.. BUT
She's done it again. And this time I know she did because I saw her do it. Lexy has eaten the tail of Da Mousey >:( and I mean the WHOLE tail! I thought she would spit it up since she's furbally this week, but no. Now I have to go on poo watch again.
I can think of other things I should be doing other than examining poo. Seriously. :-:
She's ok for now, looks happy and isn't behaving differently but I guess I have to watch her.
Isn't there a mantra or some kind of prayer out there that gives people strength because I seriously need some. >:(

I wouldn't worry too much Ruth, the boys have got through about 7 'da mice' and none of them had tails after the first day. The tails on my ones have always been leather so just the same as eating a real mouse I'd imagine.
Give her a gentle :care: from me and the boys just in case :)
-
Thanks Helen. Kinda gives me hope knowing the boys have eaten a few. :tired:
Cannot stand that she just eats whatever she can get her teeth into. She's still playing with the tailless Da Mousey. :evillaugh:
-
We've been through several da mouseys here too and they usually lose their tails within a day or two ;D
-
Archie ate a mousey tail as well and thankfully was fine
We have to bin all elastic bands as he is a terror with them :scared:
-
I am sure everthing will be fine but feel you going on poo watch - I know what thats like
-
Well I've been cleaning all day, rearranging furniture and found a HUGE poo in the tray so won't see anything until at least tomorrow for her. Fingers crossed a mangled bit of leather pops out. She's fast asleep now after the stress of the hoover being on a good portion of the morning :Luv2:
-
oh Lexy making your meowmy worry like this aint god :(
Hope shes "passes the tail" with no problems Ruth
-
when i started reading this i was thinking.... da mousey doesnt have a tail! which kinda indicated that jasper ate his too :evillaugh:
i like helens point about it being like real mouse tail.... even though its pretty disgusting, it seems pretty true ;D
hope she give you what you want real soon!!
-
I have cleaned up two fairly normal and sized, hydrated poops from the tray since yesterday. I can only assume it came out with them
Clearly the madam is fine because she was zooming all over the house at 4am. How one tiny pipsqueak can sound like a herd of elephants I don't know!!!
-
Whenever I buy Willow toy mice, I always yank the tail to se how easily it comes off - usually they come of first time :scared:
I have to watch her with plastic. We had some black bags before that had a thin blue plastic drawstring. I saw the end of one sticking out of her mouth and had to gently pull it out

All of our Da Mousies turn into "Da Hampsters" within minutes and TBH I have given up worrying now  with 4 Benglies and 2 moggies I wouldnt have a hope of finding out who had eaten Da tail
