Title: Bilbo and his Daddy do DIY!!

Dave has started building me a house and run for the boys and Bilbo has been busy this afternoon helping with things like determining the size of hole needed for the ramp between floors by jumping through a variety of different sized holes as he's such a good boy he can be trusted outside (under supervision of course) without a harness on. Bilbo idolises his Daddy and loves spending time with him and these pics made me go :Luv2: How cute are this pair  :)

Looks nifty.  Post a pic when its finished then I might be able to persuade my hubby to build one for me!  :rofl:

Thanks everyone, very proud of my boys work!  :wow:

There is no shade at all in our back garden from about 10am onwards which is fab at times and a nightmare at others so we'll be putting lots of insulation into the house in an attempt to stop the poor boys melting in the summer and to stop their water bowls freezing in the winter, I am soooo glad B&Q have got all loft insulation half price at the moment!!

I'm really impressed with the house so far (as is Bilbo!) and can't believe how quickly it's gone up ;D I'm very very lucky that my OH is brilliant at DIY (and likes any excuse to play with power tools  :evillaugh:) as I am useless.

It's going to be funny to see the cats in it when it is finished as it will have pvc sheeting on the inside so I think Pinball is going to spend ages fighting with his reflection thinking it's another cat :rofl: Bilbo is counting down until it's finished as he has been going dolally (how on earth do you spell that?!) at being cooped up in the house since we moved house as he loves being outside in the fresh air.

Great pics, where's Bilbo's hard hat and safety goggles though?  :evillaugh: Thanks for the heads up on 1/2 price loft boards, need to do mine so will have a look in B&Q  ;D

Insulation goes so much further than you think,or iv got terribly bad maths as iv got one huge roll left  :doh: :doh: really makes a difference in the shed tho, i also put lino in mine as its easy to clean  ;D

The big run and shed aren't going up until next year but the small one (the one down the side of the house) is getting done now so the boys have got something they can go outside in  :) Just need to work out how many pvc sheets I need for the inside now and work out how we're going to do the front :tired:

FANTASTIC photos brilliant, were just moving into a new house, ill look out for my Millie helping out! however i think she'll prefer just napping on the new sofa! sounds about right!!!
