Archie had yet another visit to the out of hours vet.
He came in at about 10pm with a very sore eye and some facial swelling. We got him to the vets asap and it was the same vet we have seen on Archies several other visits. She is lovely. He was given a good examination and had dye put in his eye etc.
The vet thinks he has an injury just below his eye and its effecting the membranes in the lower part of his eye.
He had various injections and I have to take him back in the morning

Oh dear poor Archie and you
At least you have seen someone who knows him and hope tomorrows trip wil sort the little man out. Lots of cuddles to Archie
-
Thanks Gill, I am getting a bit frantic about all his injuries :(
-
yes especially just before you go away.
Do you know how he keeps getting hurt?
-
The vet thinks that he walked into something sharp like a hedge. This is how he got his eye injury last year that nearly left him blind. Troulble is our garden has lots of bushes and a big hedge. :(
I will have a chat with the vet tomorrow and see if there might be an explanation.

Good luck tomorrow , hope it goes well

Just spotted this. Hope Archie's appointment went well. His poor face sounds so sore :scared:

Thank you Everyone.
Just got back from the vets and I am glad I took him promtly last night as the medications have worked and his eye is better. The vet thinks the injury was just below the eye.
Feel so relieved ;D
