Title: I'm just off to sex some kittens!

Ha!, like I'm the expert!! One of my grooming customers cats has had kittens (hmmm, we'll say no more about that one!) Anyway, they are 6 weeks old - so should be easy to sex now yes? thats if I can get them to stand still of course LOL!  ;D

Well, I reckon they are all boys, hope I got it right!

They are so cute,  :Luv2: 1 black and white lots of splodgy black markings, 1 sort of chocolitey and white with white blaze on his face, and one absolutely adorable grey (or blue!) and white, again, splodgy grey patches, with tabby markings and white blaze on his face too - nearly came home with that one. Mum is a blue tabby maine coon. AND I FORGOT TO TAKE MY CAMERA  :doh:

Boys look like a colon ':' and girls look like an exclamation mark upside down ! at least that is they way I have always told the difference. The easiest time to sex them is at birth and after that it becomes quite hard for a few weeks. but if they all looked the same at least, then you know you have six or one or t'other at least!  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Well, even with my glasses on I couldnt tell if it was a colon or an exclamation mark - I just went on the distance between bits if you see what I mean LOL!  :evillaugh:

I am absolutely dreading next year when I've got to have my first go at sexing kittens, I reckon there will be several name changes from me getting it wrong  :evillaugh: Thankfully this year again I'll be able to tell the sex from the kittens colours, phew! Might have to have a good nosy at the kittens this year and take some pics so I know for next time :rofl:
