I have just had a call from a nice bloke who has takn in a deaf white puss cat of senior years after being abandoned by owners (previous tennants)
He cannot take care of her as works away from home alot, the cat seemed so be upset with no company, i can imagine this would be a big thing for a deaf puss cat.
Had very little experience with deaf cats, but obv we will try out best with this one, but no telling when we have any space. Anybody have any ideas or potential homes..
She is female and probably spayed, been checked at the vets, no chip and not bad condition, maybe 12 yrs or so ini age
Currently in Canterbury, Kent

Sharon,
Did this couple ever get a "special needs" kitty? http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,6590.0.html

Yes indeed that was Steve who took Tilly the FIV puss cat. (he has posted on the health section recently)..

Didn't spot this on here, I've just posted on CC  I'll have a chat with the couple down the road from me, they had Amy and Larry off me, Larry is deaf and both have settled in fantastic. I can't guarantee it but I'll give it my best shot

aww the poor wee thing! fingers and paws crossed here for a home for this little one soon. :wish:

Sharon arranged with this man for us to go over today as we were in the area. He said his girlfriend would be there. We went out of our way to go there and nobody was in - These people really need to help us to help them :tired:

We arranged for this puss to go to a volunteer as the situation was bad. She is now with a volunteer and we hope to of found her a home subject to vet checks, but she is covered in fleas and worms and have a blocked tear duct as well. But at least not wandering round nr a busy motorway and roundabout.

Ahhh poor baby ... glad she is now safe. I'm sure she will get a forever home soon.

Tilley the deaf white puss we found in the middle of canterbury has now been rehomed.. She was originally given refuge with one of our volunteers but we thought she would do better on her own and a nurse called Ruth has taken her on.. Tilley is around13yrs old and has in the past suffered from block tear ducts but seems to be under control at the moment.. But what a lovely white puss cat.
This is what one of our volunteers emailed me yesterday.
n. I've just heard from Ruth, she's sent me pictures of her already. Tilley is sitting on the arm of the settee purring !!
I cried when I saw pics...lol...what a softie!!!
